1. A.S. Premana organizes on Sunday July 26th, 2009 themountain running competition

“GIIR DI MONT”, SkyMarathon 32 kilometres long, included inthe 2009 Skyrunner® World Series.

2. Race is open to male and female athletes, over the age of18, in possession of a Sports Medical Certificate valid for the current year.

3. Meeting point is at the church square in Premana at 6.45a.m.

4. Race Start is scheduled at 8.00 a.m. Sunday July 26th,2009 at the church square in Premana (Finish and Start will be in the sameplace).

5. Entry Fee is Euro 35,00 including: personal insurance forthe duration of the event, assistance and refreshment points along the course,showers and massages at the arrival, final greeting buffet, and an event-packwhich contains: technical gilet by SPORT SPECIALIST, contoured headband by CAMPand more other surprises.

Registrations must be received withinWednesday July 22nd 8.00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRY IS NOT VALID IF ANY OFMENTIONED DOCUMENT IS MISSING. Registrations will be closed when reached thelimit number of 300 athletes.

6. Final results and Ladies results will be published.Additionally to the finishing time, partial times will be taken at followingcheckpoints: Chiarino, Vegessa, Bocchetta Larecc, Rasga, Deleguaggio. The bestpartial times at each point will receive a Cash Voucher of Euro 50,00 . TheCash Voucher will be assigned only if Finish is reached.

7. Two control time gates are located along the racetracing: Alpe Vegessa (Km 9): 2hrs and Alpe Premaniga (Km 23): 4hrs 30min.Competitors who have not crossed these points within mentioned time, will beobliged to stop the race. Competitors who decide to retire from thecompetition, must inform one of the Race-Officials along the course.

8. Competitors must carry a wind and waterproof jacket(k-way) at the Start. A 3 minutes penalty will be applied to those who will befound without k-way, all along the course.

9. For the ascent from “Pont dal Dent” (Km 11) to “Bocc.Larecc” (Km 14,5) a ski poles transport service is available. Organizers willprovide to take the ski poles at the beginning of the climb and take them backat the top of the climb. Ski poles must be brought to the GIIR DI MONTSecretary, within Sunday July 26th 7.00 a.m.

10. In case of bad weather conditions, the race will takeplace following an alternative reserve track, which details will be foundinside the event-pack. Prize money will be consequently halved.

11. Race will go through paths and mule-tracks, marked witharrows, tape and flags, through all twelve summer alpine villages surroundingPremana.

12. Considering the track peculiarities (hard paths) it isrecommended to use special and suitable shoes and clothes.

13. All checkpoints along the track must be crossed; if anyof them is missed, the competitor will be disqualified.

14. Radio communications will be active between Finish andthe main points on the track.

15. The timing and data processing will be carried out byTDS Timing Data Service. Each competitor will receive a chip transponder forthe time recording which must be returned to the race organization at the endof the race. The competitor won't return the chip after the race end, will becharged with €. 25,00 sanction.

16. At each refreshment point, places in each alpine villageand harder points, beverages and energy-giving food will be available.

17. It is not permitted to follow the competitor along thetrack.

18. Several points of first aid and medical assistance willbe arranged along the track, to guarantee the competitors safety.

20. In case of complaints, these should be provided to theRace Office within one hour from the official results publication.

A deposit of Euro 50,00 is required and it will be refundedonly in the case of complaint acceptance.
