Rules
1. A.S. Premana organizes on Sunday July 25th, 2010 the mountain running competition “GIIR DIMONT”, SkyMarathon 32 kilometres long, included in the 2010 ISF Skyrunner®World Championship official calendar.
2. Race is open to male and female athletes, over theage of 18, in possession of a Sports Medical Certificate valid for the currentyear.
3. Meeting point is at the church square inPremana at 6.45 a.m.
4. Race Start is scheduled at 8.00 a.m. Sunday July25th, 2010 at the church square in Premana (Finish and Start will be in thesame place).
5. Entry Fee is Euro 35,00 including: personal insurance for the duration of the event, assistanceand refreshment points along the course, personalized start number, showers andmassages at the arrival, final greeting buffet, and an event-pack whichcontains: running set (half zip t shirt + short) by SPORT SPECIALIST, pinkingshear from DI.FRA.EM and more other gadgets.Entries could be sent by email to theaddress

Registrations must be received within Wednesday July 21nd 8.00p.m. PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRY IS NOT VALID IF ANY OF MENTIONED DOCUMENT ISMISSING. Registrations will be closed when reached the limit number of 350athletes.
6. Final results and Ladies results will be published.Additionally to the finishing time, partial times will be taken at followingcheckpoints: Chiarino, Vegessa, Bocchetta Larecc, Rasga, Deleguaggio. The bestpartial times at each point will receive a Cash Voucher of Euro 50,00 otherwisea natural prize of the same value. The Cash Voucher will be assigned only ifFinish is reached.The race is valid to assign the title of individualworld champion and combined champion together with the Vertical Kilometer racewill take place in Canazei (TN) on July 18, 2010. The team classification willconsider the lupsum of the best results of 3 males and females in both GIIR DIMONT SkyMarathon and Vertical Kilometer races following the SWS regulations.
7. Two control time gates are locatedalong the race tracing: Alpe Vegessa (Km 9): 2hrs and Alpe Premaniga (Km 23):4hrs 30min. Competitors who have not crossed these points within mentionedtime, will be obliged to stop the race. Competitors who decide to retire fromthe competition, must inform one of the Race-Officials along the course.
8. Competitors must carry a wind and waterproof jacket(k-way) at the Start. A 3 minutes penalty will be applied to those who will befound without k-way, all along the course.
9. For the ascent from “Pont dal Dent”(Km 11) to “Bocc. Larecc” (Km 14,5) a ski poles transport service is available.Organizers will provide to take the ski poles at the beginning of the climb andtake them back at the top of the climb. Ski poles must be brought to the GIIRDI MONT Secretary, within Sunday July 25th 7.00 a.m.
10. In case of bad weather conditions, the race willtake place following an alternative reserve track, which details will be foundinside the event-pack. Prize money will be consequently halved.
11. Race will go through paths andmule-tracks, marked with arrows, tape and flags, through all twelve summeralpine villages surrounding Premana.
12. Considering the track peculiarities (hard paths)it is recommended to use special and suitable shoes and clothes.
13. All checkpoints along the track mustbe crossed; if any of them is missed, the competitor will be disqualified.
14. Radio communications will beactive between Finish and the main points on the track.
15. The timing and dataprocessing will be carried out by TDS Timing Data Service. Each competitor willreceive a chip transponder for the time recording which must be returned to therace organization at the end of the race. The competitor won’t return the chipafter the race end, will be charged with €. 25,00 sanction.
16. At each refreshment point, places in each alpinevillage and harder points, beverages and energy-giving food will be available.
17. It is not permitted to follow thecompetitor along the track.
18. Several points of first aid and assistance will bearranged along the track, to guarantee the competitors safety.

20. In case ofcomplaints, these should be provided to the Race Office within one hour fromthe official results publication. A deposit of Euro 50,00 is required and itwill be refunded only in the case of complaint acceptance.
